Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
